Modern Art Gets Small
The 2017 is the year of centennial of Fountain, the famous urinal of Marcel Duchamp,
one of the most representative artworks of the 20th century. At this event, the Philately of Poste Italiane,
in collaboration with the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, has reduced the artworks of Duchamp present in the museum. Because the greatness of a work of art does not depend on its size. Especially when it comes to stamps.
For this occasion, two other subjects were created: "Artist's Poo" and "Ceci n'est pas une tétine".
